Many people imagine going on an overseas adventure, having an incredible experience, and discovering themselves in the process...only they don't. They are too afraid, unsure of themselves, and perhaps wonder if they would ever return alive. These same feelings plagued me even as I planned this 2-month solo backpacking journey through Europe. I questioned whether or not I actually had what it took to do such a thing, if I would even return alive...and if God would still be with me.
Finding Myself Through Travel: The Backpacking Adventure Of A Lifetime is my story, recorded in detailed journal entries from the start to the finish. The pages here will provide some fun photos as well as "mission logs," (what I called my video logs or "vlogs") giving you a glimpse into what I describe throughout my book. Consider it somewhat of a blog based around themes in my book. Updates will be made periodically so check back often!
Honestly though, pictures and videos do not do the incredibly amazing places I had the opportunity to see justice. The green rolling hills of Ireland, for instance, cannot be captured in a camera no matter the quality of the camera. Some things you must have to simply see with your own eyes. That is why I truly hope you are inspired to go and see the world for yourself - and I will help you do so by way of equipping you with knowledge and resources if I can.
